Every day, we’re creating a better world for your child

Bilingualism

Language immersion in early childhood fosters creativity, confidence and critical thinking. As one of the leading providers of Spanish immersion day care, we encourage second language immersion in all our early childhood classes from the start.

Farm To Childcare

We prepare balanced meals from fresh, organic and wholesome natural ingredients sourced from local farms, neighborhood co-ops, and farmers markets. Our centers each house commercial kitchens, certified by local health departments, to carry out this priority.

Loving Teachers

The feedback we get the most is how much parents love the way our nurturing teachers interact with the children. We embrace our core value of Extended Family through creating strong and loving connections between all people throughout our centers.

Earth Friendly

At Casa de Corazón®, because we care for children, we also care for the earth they will inherit from us. By supplying our own cloth diapers and reusable dishware and bottles, we make things easier for you – and the planet.

Spanish Immersion Benefits

Data shows that children who speak multiple languages not only pick up other languages quickly, they also have an expanded desire to learn and retain information. At Casa de Corazón in Edina, we begin our Spanish immersion from day one starting with our infant daycare and continuing through our preschool program. Our innovative approach ensures that your child will learn Spanish and speak it like a native. We have designed our curriculum to be all-encompassing, so children of any age can learn quickly. Whether your child is enrolled in our infant care or our preschool program, they will learn to understand and speak Spanish fluently.

The Casa Difference

Casa de Corazón is proud of the unique method we use in our childcare centers. Through enriching activities throughout the day, your child’s curiosity is sparked, and their engagement levels increase. From here we continue teaching with learning-based activities focused on their growth and enjoyment. Our Spanish Immersion education is founded on a learn by leading approach. Our methods of teaching Spanish and early childhood development are rooted in educational principles and are applied continuously. By exploring behavior, concepts, and Spanish with trained caregivers, we instill a sense of wonder in your child. By celebrating the satisfaction of accomplishment associated with discovery your child will understand the importance of learning and discovering for themselves. At Casa de Corazón, we are dedicated to ensuring your child grows in all environments, so your child understands they create their success.

We couldn’t be happier

The teachers at Casa are amazing! They truly love and care for your children like they are their own. It is a warm and caring spot for children where they thrive and learn so much. Not just about letters but about the world, new countries and the latino culture! We couldn’t be happier. They have also taken COVID-19 very seriously and follow guidelines to the T.

A home away from home

We’ve been sending our kids to Casa de Corazón since March 2014, and from day one it’s been a home away from home for our three kids. The opportunity to learn Spanish drew us there, but the love and guidance from the many teachers and staff members have kept us all these years. It’s a special place that really focuses on the basics of learning, but also community and inclusion. I highly recommend it. Once our youngest child heads to Kindergarten in Fall 2022, we will have been at Casa consistently for 8 1/2 years!

great cultural exposure

We just love Casa! The teachers are top-notch — great with the kids, very patient, and collaborative in working with parents on supporting child development. My son comes home excited about what he did at “school” and surprises me with all the new things he is learning there. The food program is really good, and I appreciate knowing my little one is eating balanced, nutritious meals throughout the day. Finally, the fact that my four year old is bilingual even though I don’t speak Spanish is such an asset — he’s getting great cultural exposure, and his language skills are very strong, making even his English at home better! I can’t recommend Casa highly enough — they are wonderful!

caring teachers

Casa de Corazón is the absolute best. We started bringing our daughter to the Edina location when she was 3.5 months and knew she was being left in good hands. As she got older she grew very attached to her caring teachers and absolutely loves going to school every day! The infant room participates in morning walks, visits to the ‘gym’, music, art, and daily ‘circle time’. I cannot say enough good things.

They nurture them, teach them kindness

Our family absolutely adores Casa de Corazón. Our two kids go to the Edina location and have been since they were infants. We love the teachers and the administration. The wonderful people taking care of our children truly love them. They nurture them, teach them kindness and give them cuddles while we are at work. Their safety is key to the people who work at Casa, and each and every time I drop them off I feel thankful that I don’t think twice about it. My kids are loved when I am not with them. They are growing and evolving in ways that we love, by good people who truly care about them. We are lucky. Above all that, they speak Spanish! My two and four-year old sit at the dinner table speaking Spanish to each other! They talk about different countries and their traditions, and constantly sing songs they learned in school. It’s an amazing place.
